After the success of Nice, nine other french cities are about to launch NFC services

12 JAN 2011 - Paris — The french Minister of Digital Economy, Eric Besson, decided to support 9 NFC project in France in 2011.

After the first commercial launch of cityzi services last may in Nice, the French minister selected nine other cities to deploy NFC services in 2011. Bordeaux, Caen, Lille, Marseille, Nice, Paris, Rennes, Strasbourg and Toulouse will soon propose contactless services to their inhabitants, with the government's help.
